The new and revolutionary technology that uses the EXOSMOSE concept to remove and transport sweat and moisture from the skin to the outer layer of the fabric.

How it works:

1- The inner layer of the fabric absorbs the moisture in big “chunks” from the skin without holding it;

2- The special treated fibers (water-repellent) in the middle layer conduct the sweat to the outer layer, that has finer multiple filaments created by a very special touchless brush that uses extremely high air pressure trough hundred of nozzles, the incoming moisture is then broke  in smaller and smaller molecules;

3- At the increased surface area of the microscopic fibers, the moisture that was absorbed from the inner layers is distributed all over the filaments converting the moisture in an almost vapor state and with the help of the body heat moving from the skin makes it very easy to evaporate!

Supplex® is specially engineered by DuPont to provide the soft, supple touch of cotton with the strength, durability and performance advantages of nylon.

Finer multiple filaments make Supplex® flexible, lightweight and 26%–36% softer than standard nylon fabrics . And unlike cotton, it won't wrinkle, shrink or fade.

DuPont certified Supplex® is also as strong as it is soft—resisting abrasions, punctures and tears. It's also breathable and odor-, wind- and water-resistant. When Supplex® does get wet, it dries in a flash—drying faster than cotton by a whopping 56 minutes.

In blends with Lycra® brand elastane, Supplex® combines cottony-soft comfort with the gentle support, superb fit and great freedom of movement that only Lycra® can bring. It's a practical fusion of softness and stretch — with Lycra® stretching up to 500%, then springing back to its original shape. Look for the soft, hugging fit of Supplex® with Lycra® bodywear, swimwear, activewear, aerobicwear, leggings and tights.
